What is a must-have in this Summer?

I cannot believe it has been more than a month since my last post. I have been busy, I have to say. But busy with what? Well, reading, shopping, enjoying summer....Basically everything.


So let us go straight to the topic. Summer came gradually and quietly, but its arrival brings us happiness and joy. More importantly, it brings shorts, dresses, sandals, sun glasses and many more fun and lively fashions. We said bye to the winter, and welcoming this season with open arms. This summer is normal, but also special. Bright Color has become the main element since spring, but turns to be more exaggerative, aggressive and vivid with the coming of summer. More colourful outfits are chosen and can be seen on the street. Especially for girls, the flower dress is the best choice to welcome summer. If you do not have a floral dress in your closet yet, you definitely need to get one "NOW" before it's too late!

When We Are Young, We Do Not Know We Are!

After watching the movie 13 Going On 30 last week with my best friend, I decided to write something about it. The movie itself is not super fancy, but it leads to many thoughts about life and love. This movie is a great combination of funny, romantic, and cheesy elements. It is about this girl who is a pre teenager. She wants to be cool, fun, and popular, but it turns out to be the opposite way, so she starts to hate her real geek friends and her real life, instead, she wants to be 30 and to be a lady who has everything, money, career, friends, cloths... One night later, her dream comes true, she has everything she has been always wanted. However, she lost the real her and her true friends. She starts to realize this is not the perfect life and to miss the period of time when she was 13.

 The weather in Canada is so unpredictable. Yesterday was still shiny, today everything is covered by snow. Put your warm coat back on, dont happy too early. 


Today I will be taking you to a very interesting store, Blue Banana. It is located at Kinsinton Market. This store gathers and attracts many local designers, artists, craftsmen, and stylists. They have many creative, amazing, and interesting stuff you have never seen before. For the people who wants to start their business from a small budget, who wants to share their talents with others, who wants to build up the recognition of their brands, Blue Banana will be a best place. 

Amy Smart is spotted!

Hey guys and girls,
I hope everything is going great with all of you. The weather is getting nicer and nicer. I bet you cannot wait to get rid of all the coats and boots. Mr. Sun comes out to say hi more often now. 


This nice weather brought me luck too. On March 19th, I met Amy Smart in Kinsington Market. She was really casual and nice. We chatted a little. She is filming 12 dates of Christmas in Toronto. I guess this holiday-like movie will hit on screen this Christmas. For those who have no idea who Amy Smart is, follow me here. You will see....


She was named by "women with organic style", and also was ranked as NO.27 in "100 sexiest women in the world" in 2002. 


When I met her, she was not as shiny as she is on the screen. However, what put more credits on her was her kindness, elegance, and well-educated look.

 I have been waiting to talk about this topic, Silk Blouse and shirt. Back to 1930s, silk was a representation of wealth and social identity. Just like bull-dog nowadays. lol

Rock the Runway 2011 Fashion Show (part 2)

Ladies and Gentlemen,


We are back. Sorry to let everybody waiting. But you will know the reason why this takes more work, when you see the pictures. First of all, thanks for our Graphic Designer, Stephen Foks. 


Rock the Runway is a Canadian local fashion show and it gathers so many unique, stylish, and passionate Canadian designers and stylists each year. This year is not an exception. However, it is getting bigger and more influential. The R.O.M. was the place where this great fashion located at. Thus, interestingly, this run way was surrounded by all the dinosaurs. Wooo......


Fashion is a word contains passion, talent, and insistent. Now, let's see how pretty the models are and how nice the dresses are.
